Blood Moon

1
hear the
Frog individual ribbit ribbit ribbit after noise from
Garbage emptying dies down
Ocean fresh resonant jet noise tripping noise resonant no actual yes wind hollow

2
walked out looking to saw there a brightness in a thinness of the puffy clouds then the top of the Moon and the
Earth
Shadows below

3
particular
Clarity in
Martin's
Slumber

4
it was time to view the high tide

oh how do you do it?

just went down to the rocks and had a look
massive seas, brisk wind, whitecaps
plunging waves

that’s always nice when you are not into

foam flying up to the bluff
it rained a little so a bit
too muddy to go all the way to the surface
there was much discussion of the blood moon
so it did bring with it the king tide and toward sunset, a minus tide as well

5
What can I say we went down in the sun that was still shining and we hiked down slipped in the mud and one step slid down and stepped down 50’
down to the Rock concert
now the rock concert is a is a cobble Beach
Big cobbles
We hear it sometimes
you can hear the Rocks rolling in the waves
in this case the tide was completely out
the opposite of the king tide
the minus tide
it was just awesome
I took pictures all around the Basin and out to the Sea and up the cliff and I did this from three Vantage points
then I went over and I shot the trench which is very deep maybe 15 feet deep and then Patti showed me a rock that she wanted me to see so I let the camera to do the seeing all around it and above it as much as I could and then from there we made the decision to go to the cave
this involved walking in-the-Wind hiking all along the way
we went ahead and did it
there was water
there was crest
there were many rocks
There were ups and downs
There was even a place at the very end where seaweed was growing
Delicious
and I modeled the basin, a very tiny piece there and then walked all the way to the cave
the last Crossing was pretty wet
this Crossing was very dry
I shot a few pictures of the cave but by then the Sun was going down
it was very dark
very hard to photograph
walked out all the way back
by this time it was well into Twilight and when we finally got back the lights were on and it was just growing dark
well I can look out and I can see a little bit of light over the ocean in the wind still blowing briskly
